Efficient control and processing of business trips

With the introduction of Lanes & Planes, we wanted to optimize our processes for booking and handling business trips on both a strategic and operational level. With the launch in spring 2019, the potential for operational improvements quickly became clear. We now process all bookings for flights, Deutsche Bahn, rental cars and hotels via one single portal – with payment and correct invoicing running automatically in the background. The expenses of our employees are now limited to receipts with smaller amounts for cab rides or public transportation, etc. Even pure expense reports for smaller business trips without travel activity are quickly recorded via the app. We also no longer want to do without Lanes & Planes at a strategic level. Using travel policies and booking rights, we can precisely control which employees or company divisions have their trips booked centrally via a defined travel manager and who has booking rights themselves. The approval workflows for supervisors and accounting run smoothly. In addition, we have an overview at all times of how our travel activities and the associated costs are developing. The strong personal support is a big plus, which our central travel manager no longer wants to miss.
